Mar is an artist manager, booking agent and radio nerd. She manages Partner, Ladan, Tallies and poolblood. Originally from Vancouver, Mar lived in London UK for 8 years where she played in various bands (toured Germany 7 times!) and worked for BBC radio. She has toured in numerous Canadian and UK bands, been a CBC radio personality, worked as a European booking agent, music publicist and now runs her own MGMT company and after 9 years in Toronto, has moved to Los Angeles. 

She's written about music for many publications and web sites in the UK and Canada (Clash, TLOBF, Exclaim, NOW). Mar recently joined Atomic Music Group as a USA/Canada booking agent and now she’s been with the Envision Records team for over a year now to help with the label side of things. Mar champions indie artists above all else.
