While working for Montreal fashion brand, Frank And Oak, Junaid started to channel his love of music by interviewing indie rock artists, such as Angel Olsen, Real Estate and No Joy, for the brand’s online magazine. In 2017 he joined local indie promoters Blue Skies Turn Black/I Love Neon. There, he worked as a social media coordinator and production manager, working on promotion and production of over a hundred shows. Junaid is most in his element at a live concert, but feels just at home listening to his extensive shoegaze/dream pop vinyl collection.
