RYHNA THOMPSON MODERATES AT THE MMF SYMPOSIUM
During the 2015 Canadian Music Week held at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in Toronto (May 1-10), Envision Management's President and Owner, Ryhna Thompson, acted as a moderator for various discussions and panels.
For instance, she assumed that role during a discussion with some of the top music managers in the country from Starfish Entertainment, Pirates Blend and Go Kartz Management, about the most pertinent issues in the Canadian music landscape. These issues concerned the advantages to being based in Montreal vs. Toronto, the openness of the management community and the challenges unique to self-managed artists. Ryhna also moderated a panel about the factors of success of a music manager in today's industry. The event was presented by the Music Managers Forum of Canada (MMF) and co-presented by Music Ontario.
